Parole bad

Dear Editor,

The decision of a parole board to grant freedom to convicted cop killer Herman Bell is an outrage.

When he and several others ambushed officers Waverly Jones and Joseph Piagentini in May 1971,Bell and his accomplices were rightly convicted of murdering two brave dedicated police officers.

Now the parole board, citing good behavior from Bell, feel it is time to allow him to retake his place in society. Bell deserves to rot in in prison until the day he dies.

His release is a slap in the face to the families of those two police officers and every police officer in this city.

Sincerely,

John Amato
