The George Subraj Family Foundation, led by principals of Zara Realty in Jamaica, Queens, has a long track record of missioning to Guyana to provide medical help to residents in need.

The foundation has led over 30 missions to Guyana, and have conducted over 80 corneal transplants to residents in need. The Foundation provided free corneal tissues and invited corneal specialists from the United States to train local surgeons to perform the needed procedure. The Foundation has also been providing the needed instruments and consumables.

This week, the George Subraj Family Foundation took a trip to Paramaribo, Suriname to conduct the country's first ever set of Kidney Transplants.

George Subraj went to Guyana 11 years ago to coordinate the first transplant there, and now his foundation and wife are honoring his legacy and carrying on his dream by helping more people in Suriname.

For years, Zara Realty and the Subraj Family have been helping people around the world. Providing computers and learning centers to the underprivileged, helping kids with their graduation ceremony, cornea transplants and more... the foundation has never hesitated to help those in need.
