QBFC II beats Black Rock FC for their 11th win of the year

Queensboro FC II just can’t be stopped. Another win for the Northeast champions gave them 11 on the year, though they were held to just one goal.
It’s the first time since a draw in July that Queensboro has failed to find the net more than once.
Their opponents were Black Rock FC, who Queensboro FC beat 2-1 just a few weeks ago. In the return match, Black Rock looked determined and organized, standing up to the unstoppable QBFC attack.
The breakthrough came in the 24th minute, punched home by midfielder Christian LoGrasso. Damien Barker picked up the assist with a great cross to find LoGrasso in the box.
Defensively, QBFC kept another clean sheet, helped by three great saves from Pol Rodriguez. It’s the 8th time this season they’ve held their opponents scoreless.
While they’ve already secured their spot in the playoffs, QBFC is making sure they end the season on the right foot and carry momentum to Tampa.
With one match left to play, Queensboro FC still has some goals they are yet to complete. While they lead the division in Goal Difference (+37), they are still four goals behind 2nd place AC Connecticut for the best mark in the Northeast.
QBFC takes on Pathfinder FC on October 27th to finish the season at Deborah and John Danzi Stadium at St Joseph’s College.
